Getting started

What is the app for?
It helps you keep track of your bank accounts: you enter or import your transactions, sort them into categories, check them against your statements and follow your budget month after month.
It never connects to your bank: you stay in control of what you put in.
Is the app free?
Yes. The free plan lets you manage 2 accounts in euros, with the current month and the previous 3 months, transaction import, checking, reconciliation, categories and statistics.
Premium adds unlimited accounts, currencies, folders, full history, scheduled transactions and budgets, among others.
How much does Premium cost?
Premium costs €3 every 4 weeks (charged every 28 days), or €33 per year, i.e. 2 4-week periods free. No commitment.
The Premium page (“My account” menu or page footer) compares the free and Premium plans in detail.
Where do I start?
1. Create your first account from “My accounts”, with the balance shown by your bank on a given date.
2. Import your bank's transaction file (CSV, OFX or QIF) or enter your transactions.
3. Sort them into categories, then check them against your statement.
The “First steps” box on the home page lists these steps: each one earns you a badge. The Badges page then suggests more ideas to go further.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes, the site adapts to small screens, and you can install it like an app, without going through an app store: the Mobile app page of the menu shows you how.
How do I change the language?
Click a flag at the top of the page, or choose the language in your Profile. It is saved on your account and also used for the emails you receive.

Sign-in and security

I forgot my password, what should I do?
On the login page, click “Forgot password?” and enter your email address: you will receive a link, valid for one hour, to choose a new one. Remember to check your spam folder.
Can I sign in with my Google account?
Yes, with the Google button on the login page. From your Profile, you can also link Google to an existing account, or unlink it if you have a password or a passkey.
What is a passkey?
A passkey replaces your password: you sign in with your device's fingerprint, face or PIN. Create one from the Security page; it is safer than a password and cannot be stolen by a fake login page.
How do I change my email address or password?
From your Profile. The new address must be confirmed through the link we send to it; the old one is notified of the change. After a change, your other devices are signed out.
Who can see my data?
Only you: every account, transaction or category belongs to your user account. We never ask for your bank credentials. To delete your user account, write to us from the bottom of this page.
How do I delete my account?
From the Profile page, “Delete my account”, confirming with your password. All your data is erased. Your Premium subscription is cancelled, and refunded pro rata if it is less than 14 days old. In shared pots, your name becomes “Inactive user”. A shared account can be handed over to the person you share it with.
Can I get my data back?
Yes, at any time and without Premium. From your Profile, “Download my data” produces an archive with all your data (a JSON file usable by other software) and the transactions of each account as CSV. From the gear menu of an account, “Export transactions” downloads them as CSV or OFX, over the period of your choice.

Bank accounts

What types of accounts can I create?
A standard account (current account, savings…) or a deferred debit card. The type is chosen when the account is created and cannot be changed afterwards.
How does a deferred debit card work?
Create a “Deferred debit” account linked to the debited account, with the debit day. Enter your card payments in it; each month, their total is automatically debited from the linked account on the scheduled date, then the card starts again from zero.
Can I manage an account in another currency?
Yes, with Premium: choose the currency when creating the account. Summaries and statistics are calculated per currency, without conversion.
What are folders for?
With Premium, folders group your accounts (by bank, by person…) in the “My accounts” list. Type a folder name in the account form to create it, or manage them from the Folders page.
How do I show an account on the home page?
Click the account's star in “My accounts”: it appears in the favorite accounts box on the home page.
What is the difference between archiving and deleting an account?
An archived account disappears from the lists but keeps its transactions: you can unarchive it at any time. Deleting is permanent, with all its transactions, and must be confirmed with your password.
What opening balance should I enter?
Your account balance just before the first transaction you enter or import, as shown on your statement. It appears as the last line of the first month and is edited with the account, as long as no reconciliation has been made.
How do I share an account (joint account)?
From the account page, use the “Share” button: enter the person's email address. If they are already signed up, they immediately find the account among theirs; otherwise, they receive an invitation to create their account with this address. A shared account does not count towards their account limit, and they cannot share it in turn.
Sharing is read-only. With Premium, you can allow write access: the person adds, edits, deletes and checks off transactions, with your categories and payees, provided they also have Premium. Reconciliation, imports, schedules and account settings remain yours.
How do I leave an account shared with me?
In “My accounts”, “Shared with me” section, open the account's gear menu then “Stop following this account”. Its owner can also remove your access at any time.
In that same section, the star adds the account to your home page favourites. In the statistics, tick “Include accounts shared with me”, or choose the account on its own: its categories are matched with yours (same default category or same name).

Transactions

How do I enter a transaction?
From the account page, use the add button: choose the direction (expense or income), the amount, the date, then optionally the payee, category and payment method. Transactions dated in the future are “upcoming” and do not count in today's balance yet.
How do I import my bank's transactions?
From the account page, “Import transactions”: upload the file downloaded from your bank's website (CSV, OFX or QIF, up to 2000 lines). A preview shows the new transactions and those already entered, unticked to avoid duplicates; nothing is saved until you confirm.
How does the import choose the payee and category?
The payee is taken from the file or guessed from the description. The category comes from the payee's default category, from your similar past transactions, or from keywords in the description. You can correct everything in the preview or later.
What are the value date and the statistics month for?
The value date is the one used by your bank; it helps with reconciliation without changing the balance. The statistics month lets a transaction count in the previous or next month (a salary paid on the 30th for the following month, for example) in summaries and budgets.
How do I spread a transaction across several categories?
In the transaction form, open “Split across several categories” below the amount and add at least two lines, each with its amount and category. The lines must add up to the transaction amount.
How do I record a transfer between two of my accounts?
Choose the “Transfer” payment method, then the destination account: the opposite transaction is created automatically on the other account and follows your changes. These internal transfers count neither as income nor as expenses.

Checking and reconciliation

What does “checking” a transaction mean?
Checking means ticking a transaction you find on your bank statement. The circle at the end of a statement row checks or unchecks one transaction in a click; the checking mode of the account page lets you tick several transactions at once. The checked balance, to compare with your statement balance, updates right away.
What is a bank reconciliation?
It is the verification, on a statement date, that the checked balance equals the bank balance. Enter the statement date and balance, check transactions until the difference is zero, then confirm: the transactions are then reconciled.
Can I import my statement for the reconciliation?
Yes, with Premium: upload the statement (CSV, OFX or QIF) from the reconciliation page. Matching transactions (same amount, within 5 days) are ticked automatically and the date and balance are filled in. The file is not kept and creates no transaction.
Can I undo a reconciliation?
Yes, but only the latest one: its transactions become editable again and remain checked.
Why can't I edit a transaction?
A reconciled transaction is frozen (amount, date, direction and checking) so your reconciliations stay correct: undo the reconciliation to fix it. A transaction may also be outside the history accessible without Premium, or generated by a deferred debit card.

Categories, payees and payment methods

Can I create my own categories?
Yes, from Settings › Categories: categories and subcategories, with an icon. The default categories can be renamed or archived, but not deleted.
How do I combine two categories?
With the merge, in Settings › Categories: the transactions of the first move to the second. Both must be at the same level and of the same direction (expense or income).
What are payees for?
A payee is whoever you pay or who pays you (shop, employer…). Give it a default category: it will be suggested for every new transaction with that payee. Duplicate payees can be merged from Settings › Payees.
Can I add a payment method?
Yes, from Settings › Payment methods. The default ones (card, transfer, direct debit…) can only be archived.

Scheduled transactions and forecast

What is a scheduled transaction?
With Premium, a scheduled transaction describes a transaction that comes back regularly (rent, salary, subscription…): amount, frequency, start date and optionally end date. You can also create one from an existing transaction.
How do scheduled transactions become transactions?
From the monthly view of scheduled transactions, tick the occurrences to record (and adjust the amount if it varies), or skip those that did not happen. An occurrence is never recorded twice.
Can scheduled transactions be recorded automatically?
Yes: choose an automatic recording delay in the scheduled transaction; occurrences are recorded every day, catching up on the last 7 days. You can also get an email reminder a few days before.
How can I see my balance at the end of the month?
With Premium, upcoming scheduled transactions appear grayed out in the account statement, with the “Forecast balance” at the end of the month and an alert if the account may go overdrawn.
Where do suggested scheduled transactions come from?
The app spots transactions that come back at a regular pace (weekly, monthly, yearly) and suggests turning them into scheduled transactions. You can dismiss a suggestion.
How much do my subscriptions cost me?
The subscriptions report, from the list of scheduled transactions, ranks your regular expenses by yearly cost and shows what you save with those you have stopped.

Loans

What can I follow on the Loans page?
With Premium, all your loans: mortgage, zero-interest loan, bridge loan, car, consumer or student loan, or a loan from a relative. For each one: outstanding principal, next installment, end date, total cost (interest, insurance, fees) and the full amortization schedule, grouped by year and exportable as CSV.
How do I set up a loan?
Enter the amount borrowed, the nominal annual rate (the contract rate, excluding insurance), the date of the first installment, the term in months and the installment frequency. Choose the repayment method: fixed installments (the most common), fixed principal (decreasing installments) or interest only (principal at the end). You can add a deferral at the start of the loan, the borrower insurance (rate on the amount borrowed or on the outstanding principal, or a fixed amount) and the application or guarantee fees. If your first installment does not cover a normal period (interim interest, shorter pre-financing), enter the interest of its first line from the bank's schedule.
My loan has changed (renegotiation, early repayment…), how do I take it into account?
Add an exception on the loan page: rate change (renegotiation or revision of a variable rate), early repayment (shortening the term or lowering the installment, with its penalty), postponed installments (the interest is added to the principal, the loan gets longer accordingly) or a new installment amount. The schedule is recalculated from the first installment following the date of the exception.
How do I link a loan to my bank account?
Choose the repayment account in the loan form, then “Create the repayment scheduled transaction”: each installment, insurance included, is recorded on this account (forecast, automatic recording, reminders). Rows of the schedule whose transaction is recorded are marked “Paid”. When the schedule changes, a button updates the scheduled transaction.
How do I read the amortization schedule?
Each row gives the date and the amount paid, its share of interest, principal and insurance, then the outstanding principal. The interest of an installment is calculated on the outstanding principal: it weighs heavily at the start of the loan, then the share of principal grows. The current year is expanded; “Export the schedule (CSV)” opens it in a spreadsheet.

Net worth

What is the Net worth page for?
It sums up what you own (assets: real estate, savings, investments, vehicle, valuables…) and what you owe (liabilities: debts, taxes to pay…). The difference is your net worth, also shown on the home page.
Are my accounts and loans counted?
Yes, automatically: today's balance of your bank accounts (neither archived nor locked) is added to assets, the outstanding principal of your loans to liabilities. Do not enter them a second time.
How do I track changes in the value of an asset?
On the asset's page, “Update the value” saves a new value on the date of your choice. The history keeps every value, with its change; the most recent one is the current value. With a purchase price, the capital gain is shown.
How is the net worth chart drawn?
With Premium, the chart shows your net worth at the end of each month, up to 5 years back. Your accounts and loans are recalculated at each date; an asset counts for its latest known value at that date. Before its first value, its purchase price counts, from its purchase date: fill them in so that an asset bought long ago shows from the start of the chart.
Is net worth tracking free?
Yes: the free plan lets you track 3 net worth items (assets and liabilities you enter), in euros. Premium makes them unlimited, in any currency. Totals are calculated per currency, without conversion.

Savings goals

What are savings goals for?
To put money aside for a project: “€3,000 for the holidays by June”. Enter the target amount and, if you like, a date: a gauge shows where you stand, on the goal's page and on the home page.
How is the suggested monthly deposit calculated?
With a target date, the amount left to save is spread over the months until then: one deposit per month after the current month, up to the month of the target date (a single one if it falls this month). It is recalculated after each deposit; once the date has passed, the goal is shown as overdue.
How do I record what I have put aside?
On the goal's page, “Add a deposit” records a deposit or a withdrawal (a withdrawal cannot exceed the amount saved). When creating the goal, enter what you have already saved. Transfers from a scheduled transaction linked to the goal are counted automatically.
Can I automate my savings?
Yes, with Premium: “Schedule a monthly transfer” creates a scheduled transaction filled in with the suggested amount, from your current account to the goal's savings account, until the target date. Each recorded transfer counts as a deposit; deleting the transaction removes the deposit.
Are savings goals free?
Yes: the free plan lets you track 2 goals, in euros. Premium makes them unlimited, in any currency, and lets you feed them with a scheduled transfer.

Shared pots

What is a shared pot for?
For splitting a group's expenses (holidays, flatshare, joint gift, club…): everyone records what they paid and for whom, and the app works out each person's balance and the repayments to make. A pot is independent from your bank accounts: it does not change any balance.
How many pots can I create?
The free plan lets you create 1 shared pot, in euros; with Premium, as many as you like, in any currency. Pots you are invited to do not count, and the number of participants is unlimited.
How do I invite participants?
From the pot's “Participants” tab, add each person by name, with their email address to invite them: they receive a link to the pot, or an invitation to create their account, valid for 7 days. A participant without an address (a child, a friend without an account) can appear in transactions without accessing the pot.
Which transactions can I record?
An expense (someone paid for the group), an income (someone received money that belongs to the group: refund, sale…) or a transfer (someone gave money to another participant, with an explanation). Every registered participant can add transactions, but only edits or deletes their own.
How is an expense split?
Tick the participants concerned: the expense is split equally, to the cent. For different shares, choose “Entered amounts” and enter each person's share: their total must equal the amount.
How do I know who owes how much?
The pot page shows your balance (what you are owed, or what you owe) and the suggested repayments: the app works them out so that there are as few as possible. Once a repayment is made, click “Record the repayment”: it is recorded as a transfer.
Can I reuse a transaction from my accounts?
Yes: in a transaction's form, the “Send to a shared pot” link copies its label, date and amount into the pot of your choice. It is only a copy: editing it in the pot afterwards does not change your account.
What happens if a participant leaves the pot?
They no longer have access, but their transactions remain, under their name, so that the accounts stay right. Only the pot's creator manages participants and can delete the pot.

Summary, statistics and budgets

How is the month summary on the home page calculated?
It adds up the month's income and expenses of the accounts included in the summary (checkbox in the account form), excluding transfers between your accounts. The trend compares what you have left with your previous months.
What do the statistics show?
Your income and expenses by category for a month, compared with the previous month or a month of your choice, for one account or all your accounts. With Premium, you also get the evolution of your income, expenses and balance, month by month, up to 5 years back.
How do I set a budget?
With Premium, from the Budgets page: choose an expense category and a monthly limit. A gauge shows what has been spent each month and warns you as you approach the limit.
Can I be notified when a budget is exceeded?
Yes: on the Budgets page, choose the thresholds (for example 80% and 100%) from which you receive an email. Each threshold is reported only once per month and per budget.
What is the monthly summary?
At the start of each month, you receive by email, and as a notification on your subscribed devices, last month's summary: income, expenses and trend, badges earned and next reward, and with Premium your budgets. Turn off the email from your profile (or the link in the email), the notification on the Mobile app page.
Can I customize the home page?
Yes: the “Customize home page” link lets you reorder the boxes and hide those you do not need.

Badges

What are badges for?
Badges reward good habits: keeping your accounts, checking, reconciling, sticking to your budgets… The Badges page shows those you have earned and how to unlock the others. They earn you free Premium (see “What do badges earn me?”).
What do bronze, silver, gold and platinum mean?
Some badges have several levels: you climb them as you progress (for example by checking more and more transactions). A badge you have earned is never taken away.
What do badges earn me?
With 50% of the badges, you earn 4 weeks of free Premium; with 75%, 12 weeks; with all the badges, one year. These days are added after any subscription. Each reward can only be earned once: if new badges are added and you fall below a step, reaching it again does not give it back.
Why don't my imported transactions count towards my badges?
Badges reward your own work: transactions checked or categorized automatically by an import, and the payees it creates, do not count. They count as soon as you edit them yourself.

Referrals

How do I refer a friend?
From the Referrals page in the menu, share your link, let your friend scan your QR code or invite them by email. They must create their account with this link (or with Google after opening it).
What do referrals earn?
For each friend who signs up with your link, you get 28 days of free Premium (up to 12 rewarded referrals per year), and your referral enjoys Premium for 10 days. Free days add up to those you already have.
I already subscribe to Premium, are my free days lost?
No: they are kept separately and take over when your subscription ends, even if you cancel it or exercise your right of withdrawal. They are never charged.
What happens at the end of my Premium trial?
A banner shows how many days you have left. At the end, you go back to the free plan without losing anything, or you subscribe: your remaining trial days are then added to your subscription.
How do I track my invitations?
The Referrals page lists your pending invitations and the referrals who signed up. An invitation link is valid for 30 days; you can send it again with a new link or remove it.

Mobile app

How do I install the app on my phone?
Open the Mobile app page from the menu. On Android (Chrome) and on a computer (Chrome, Edge), an “Install the app” button appears. On iPhone and iPad, open the site in Safari, tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”. The app then opens from its icon, without an address bar, and keeps itself up to date.
Can I view my accounts without a connection?
Yes, read-only: the pages you opened recently (home, statements, scheduled transactions…) remain readable without a network, with a banner showing when they were displayed. Without a network, nothing can be saved: entries and changes wait for the connection to come back.
How do I get notifications on my phone?
On the Mobile app page, tap “Turn on notifications on this device” and accept the browser prompt, on each device. Then choose what you receive: scheduled transaction reminders, expected overdraft, budget alerts, shared pots, shared accounts, badges and referrals. On iPhone and iPad, first install the app on your home screen. When you log out, the device stops receiving notifications.
What stays on my device?
Only the last pages you viewed, in your browser cache, for offline reading. Confirmation messages are not kept. They are erased when you log out (or as soon as a page is displayed while logged out), when another user logs in and with each new version of the site; you can also erase them from the Mobile app page. On a shared device, remember to log out.

Free plan and Premium

What does Premium include?
Unlimited accounts, foreign currencies, folders, full history, unlimited net worth items, scheduled transactions and forecast, budgets and their alerts, statement import for reconciliation and statistics over time. These features are marked with a crown.
Why are some months locked?
Without Premium, the accessible history covers the current month and the previous 3 months. Older transactions remain in your balance, but cannot be viewed or edited.
What happens if I lose Premium?
Nothing is deleted. Beyond 2 accounts, only the oldest remain accessible and the others are locked until Premium returns; scheduled transactions and budgets remain viewable but can no longer be edited.
How do I see my invoices or cancel my subscription?
On the Premium page, “Manage my subscription” opens our payment provider's secure page: invoices, payment card and cancellation. Once cancelled, Premium stays active until the end of the paid period and nothing more is charged.
Can I withdraw after subscribing?
Yes, within 14 days of subscribing, without giving any reason: write to us with the “Contact us” button at the bottom of this page. Since you asked to enjoy Premium right away, the remaining period is refunded pro rata, within 14 days, using the payment method you used, and Premium stops.
What is the welcome-back offer?
If you have not visited for 30 days and do not have Premium, we offer you once, by email and notification, 10 free days of Premium, to activate within 5 days (a reminder is sent the day before it expires). No card is required. Stop receiving offers by email by unticking the box in your profile.
