Export your BoursoBank transactions

How to download the transactions of your BoursoBank account to import them into personal finance software, a spreadsheet or our app, and which format to choose.

Download your transactions from BoursoBank

  1. Log in to your BoursoBank customer area and open the account.
  2. Choose the period, then click “Rechercher”.
  3. Below the results, click “Exporter en Format CSV”. QIF and OFX are also available from the account transactions.

PDF statements are elsewhere (“Mes services”, “Documents”, “Relevés de Comptes”): they are for reading or printing, not importing.

Formats offered

  • CSV: spreadsheet, or direct import into the app
  • OFX: standard format of personal finance software (Money, GnuCash…)
  • QIF: older Quicken format, still read by many programs
  • PDF: statement to read or print, unreadable by finance software

BoursoBank offers OFX: that is the format to choose for personal finance software. For our app, CSV, OFX and QIF all work.

Frequently asked questions about exporting from BoursoBank

Over what period can I export my BoursoBank transactions?
You choose the period when downloading; the history available depends on your bank and contract. To keep track of your accounts, export regularly, for instance every month: when importing into our app, transactions already entered are detected and not added twice.
What about deferred debit card payments?
Deferred debit card payments are only debited from the account once a month, in a single payment. Depending on your bank, their details are downloaded from the account or from the card page. In our app, a deferred debit card is a separate account whose total is debited automatically from the current account.
Can I import a BoursoBank PDF statement?
No: a PDF statement is meant to be read or printed, not imported. Download your transactions in a data format (CSV, OFX or QIF) by following the steps above instead.
CSV or OFX: which format should I choose?
OFX is the standard format of personal finance software: it is read without any setup. CSV opens in a spreadsheet, but each bank lays it out its own way. The free converter turns a CSV or QIF into OFX, and our app's import accepts all three formats.
