Export your N26 transactions

How to download the transactions of your N26 account to import them into personal finance software, a spreadsheet or our app, and which format to choose.

Download your transactions from N26

  1. Log in to the N26 online customer area, on the web.
  2. From the home page, choose the account or space, then open “Downloads” (“Téléchargements” in French).
  3. Under “Account activity”, enter the start and end dates, choose CSV, then click “Download”.

In the mobile app, monthly account statements are only offered as PDF: use the online space to get the CSV.

Formats offered

  • CSV: spreadsheet, or direct import into the app
  • PDF: statement to read or print, unreadable by finance software

If your personal finance software requires OFX and N26 does not offer it, download the CSV and convert it with the free converter. Our app imports the CSV directly.

Track your N26 accounts without handing over your login details

  • The app reads your bank's CSV, OFX or QIF directly and leaves out transactions already entered.
  • Payees and categories are found automatically from your past transactions.
  • Tick off, reconcile with your statement, follow budgets and forecasts, on computer and mobile.

Frequently asked questions about exporting from N26

Over what period can I export my N26 transactions?
You choose the period when downloading; the history available depends on your bank and contract. To keep track of your accounts, export regularly, for instance every month: when importing into our app, transactions already entered are detected and not added twice.
What about deferred debit card payments?
Deferred debit card payments are only debited from the account once a month, in a single payment. Depending on your bank, their details are downloaded from the account or from the card page. In our app, a deferred debit card is a separate account whose total is debited automatically from the current account.
Can I import a N26 PDF statement?
No: a PDF statement is meant to be read or printed, not imported. Download your transactions in a data format (CSV, OFX or QIF) by following the steps above instead.
CSV or OFX: which format should I choose?
OFX is the standard format of personal finance software: it is read without any setup. CSV opens in a spreadsheet, but each bank lays it out its own way. The free converter turns a CSV or QIF into OFX, and our app's import accepts all three formats.
